All of my images are created in-camera. I do not alter the image beyond the cropping and calibration necessary for printing. I am particularly interested in body language, stance, and suggested movement. I want to convey as much as I can with as little detail as possible. Reducing the details of an everyday scene can allow it to be a more universal yet personal and inviting place for the viewer. I like to manipulate how the camera captures an image, whether that be pulling colour from a night scene or pushing the focus and exposure to reduce the composition to a simple arrangement of lines and shapes. |
